HELLO PEOPLE. Isaac here! *waves.
something I wanna share from tuesday prayer meeting.
Isaiah 40:27-31
27 Why do you say, O Jacob,
and complain, O Israel,
“My way is hidden from the LORD;
my cause is disregarded by my God”?
28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who wait on the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
SO.... well, God hasn't repsonded instantaneously.
WHY?
verse 28, it says that NO ONE can fathom.
well, surely we were made in His image, our level understanding is also lower than His, and He can see the future, which we can't.
read on verse 29 &30
and coming to verse 31... those who wait on the LORD.
wow, wait.
this world is such a fast-paced world.
but our God remains the same, He wants you to wait for His reasons.
Lets picture this,
remember the days (if you have) when you go on a date, and wait for you love one, and he/she is late for 2 hours and still, you'll continue to wait, and when he/she arrives, you'll look at him/her and still say that they are cute.
if we can love earthly beings this much, why can't we be much more in love with God?
surely a test of endurance = prove of love.
and so, just wait la.
but.. in the midst of waiting, some of us get discouraged, some give up.
caution: Most of the time we get so bored of waiting, then we will run away. But by running away, we will just fall into the valley and then, we won’t ever get to see what God’s going to do
best is not to talk. be silent, why?
cause simply sooner or later, we'll speak words of discouragement.. and GG.
Be still, and know He’s God
be silent la, FIX YOUR EYES ON HIM.
1 I lift up my eyes to you,
to you whose throne is in heaven.
2 As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master,
as the eyes of a maid look to the hand of her mistress,
so our eyes look to the LORD our God,
till he shows us his mercy
OKAYE? wait ah. dont say He never answer you hor. :D
